New Exhibitions by Silke Mathé in Norway

In November 2025, Silke Mathé will open a solo exhibition in the municipality of Bærum. Under the title “Dype vann er ikke stille” (Deep Waters Are Not Still), she will present a selection of her works at Carpe Diem Hjem. The exhibition runs from 1 November to 31 December 2025 and marks the beginning of the large-scale touring exhibition series “Cultural walk through Bærum”.
As part of this year-long project, the artist will present her work in seven different institutions across the municipality. The exhibition at Carpe Diem Hjem is the first of these seven venues and offers audiences an in-depth encounter with Mathé’s artistic practice.

In addition to this solo exhibition, Silke Mathé will also be featured in Norway in November 2025 with new works. The Nittedal Art Association will present selected pieces by the artist in its annual Christmas Exhibition (Juleutstilling). The opening takes place on 8 November 2025, and the exhibition runs from 8 to 14 November 2025.
