ShortCut Harry Meyer & Sonja Edle von Hoessle

The juxtaposition of painting and sculpture unfolds as a deliberately staged dialogue within the space. The two works do not appear in isolation but respond subtly to one another: the expansive, planar dynamism of the painting finds its counterpart in the linear, spatially extending movement of the sculpture. Sightlines, directions, and tensions connect the works and guide perception between surface and space, density and openness. In this way, an interplay emerges that activates the exhibition space itself and draws the viewer into a continuous visual exchange between the two positions.
