The institutional solo exhibition “Lumi ale picturii” is currently on view at the National Museum of Bukovina in Suceava, Romania.
The presentation brings together 61 works from various bodies of work created over the past several years, offering a comprehensive insight into Meyer’s artistic practice. A particular focus is placed on 14 paintings from the series “Wind,” which he has been developing since 2025 and in which landscape increasingly unfolds as an atmospheric and emotional space of experience.
The exhibition project is curated by Dr. Constantin-Emil Ursu, Director General of the National Museum of Bukovina. It is accompanied by an extensive bilingual exhibition catalogue (German/Romanian), published by Edition Karl A. Romstorfer. The publication features contributions by Augsburg-based art critic Rüdiger Heinze and Prof. Dr. Tobias Loemke of the University of Education Freiburg, offering art-historical and scholarly perspectives on Harry Meyer’s work.
With this exhibition at the National Museum of Bukovina, Harry Meyer continues to expand his international exhibition activity. As the artist’s long-standing gallery, we have represented and supported his work for more than 25 years and hold a comprehensive selection of works from different phases of his career. We would be pleased to provide you with personal information on currently available works and to advise you on any questions regarding his oeuvre.
