Rubica von Streng – Gardens of Tomorrow

In the exhibition “Gardens of Tomorrow,” Bode Galerie Frankfurt presents recent works by Rubica von Streng from her Seasons of PortLand series. Featuring both paintings and works on paper, the exhibition explores fundamental processes of transformation, growth, and transience.

The garden becomes a symbol of a world in constant transformation, where emergence and decay are inseparably connected. Through organic forms, layered color compositions, and abstract pictorial spaces, von Streng develops an artistic vision of nature and the future, understood not as a fixed state but as an ongoing, open-ended process.
