For this year’s Frankfurt gallery season opening, Bode Galerie presents the dialogue exhibition Where Time Settles, featuring works by South Korean artist Koo Bona and German sculptor Philipp-Emanuel Eyrich.
Every material carries its own history. It preserves traces of geological processes, human intervention and natural change, becoming a bearer of memory, time and transformation. The exhibition brings together two artistic positions that understand material not merely as a means of shaping form, but as a carrier of meaning in its own right. Drawing on different cultural contexts, South Korean artist Koo Bona and German sculptor Philipp Emanuel Eyrich create works in which nature and construction, permanence and change, organic growth and human intervention enter into a multilayered dialogue.
The exhibition takes place as part of the Frankfurt Art Experience.
