Udo Kaller (* 1943) is known for his works of abstract
forms and graphic lines. As a member of the artist
group “Der Kreis”, the oldest association of visual
artists of the post-war period in Franconia, the
German artist also is of great regional importance.
His oeuvre defies any classification. It represents
Kaller’s constant analysis of the different effects
of form and color, line and surface as well as
constellation and composition. Thus, “Houses II”
shows a cityscape that conveys the image of a
village solely through linear forms and areas of
color. ET
