Peter Hermann (1962 in Bietigheim) is a German sculptor who is best known for his calm, stylized figures in wood and bronze. After training as a stonemason, he studied sculpture at the Bremen University of the Arts from 1990 to 1996 under Prof. Bernd Altenstein, where he was subsequently also a master student.

His work focuses on the human figure, often with reduced forms, foreshortened limbs and smooth surfaces. His sculptures appear quiet, dignified and sometimes slightly ironic. In addition to figures, he occasionally integrates symbolic animals or objects into his works.
