Bernd Schwarting

Bernd Schwarting (born 1964 in Stade) is a German painter of contemporary expressionism. His works are characterized by multi-layered compositions, strong colors and a combination of figuration and abstraction. He often focuses on mythological, nature-related and existential motifs. Bernd Schwarting studied painting under Walter Stöhrer at the Hochschule der Künste in Berlin and graduated as his master student in 1998. His works have been presented in numerous national and international exhibitions.
